The Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India has launched the program of Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA), a national program with the vision to involve the professional and other higher educational institutions of the country in the development of villages.Under the UBA program every Participating Institute is to adopt a cluster of five villages in consultation with the Districts Collector. GNIOT had adopted below five villages in the district (Gautam Budh Nagar).

Covid-19 Awareness Camp in Village Khedi :
Institution Innovation Council (IIC) GNIOT, Greater Noida organized an awareness Campaign in village Khedi , Greater Noida Under the Unnatt Bharat Abhiyan on 18 January 2021. Dr Anuranjan Misra, Dean (R&D) and village Pradhan Mrs. Sangeeta Tounger given various carona awareness tips. They said masks and social distance is necessary until total removal of corona.

Sanitizer has distributed in the villages by GNIOT faculty members. Civil Engineering department of GNIOT had listen various problems of villager related to village along with the team of GNIOT- Institution Innovation Council so that a innovative solution can be suggested and implemented in the Khedi Village.
Village Pradhan Mrs. Sangeeta Tounger and villegers given many thanks to chairman and vice chairman of Greater Noida Institute of Technology for the distribution of marks and Sanitizer to all villagers. Mr. jainander Singh Bhati, Dr Priyanka Gautam, Tabish quadric, and shivendra yadav were also present as gniot team member.

Dr. Anuranjan Misra Dean research and development and Village Pradhan shared various tips to prevent Corona virus . villager people shared basic problem related with Electricity, Drinking water, Education with Dean Academic of GNIOT .

Institute Innovation Council (IIC) Greater Noida Institute of Technology Greater Noida organized an Awareness Campaign in Village Rampur Bangar Greater Noida under the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan on 22 Jan/2021.
Director of GIPS Dr. Deelip Singh , shared the government Initiative for vaccination of COVID 19 with villagers. Dr. Anuranjan Misra Dean research & developoment and development, GNIOT and Village Senior person Shree Paal Singh shared various tips to prevent Corona virus . Villager shared their Basic problems related with naked high voltage electricity wire, land required for marriage hall , requirement of Primary Health Centre with Dr. Anuranjan Misra Dean research & developoment, GNIOT.

The Institute Innovation Council (IIC) Greater Noida Institute of Technology Greater Noida conducted an awareness campaign on 25 January2021 at Village Rampur Khadar Greater Noida under Unnao Bharat Abhiyan. Dr. Priyanka Gautam shared the government initiative with the villagers for the vaccination of COVID 19.
Dr. Anuranjan Mishra Dean Research and Development and Village Senior Person Mr. Bhagirath Ji shared various tips to prevent corona virus. The villagers shared problem of clean drinking water, new construction of toilets, transportation problem and basic problems related to the maintenance of the Primary Health Center with Dr. Anuranjan Misra, Dean Research & Development, GNIOT, Greater Noida.

The Institute Innovation Council (IIC) Greater Noida Institute of Technology, Greater Noida conducted an awareness campaign on 27 January2021 at Village Junpat Greater Noida under Unnat Bharat Abhiyan. Dr. Priyanka Gautam of GNIOT and village pradhan shri Harender Ji shared the government initiative with the villagers for the vaccination of COVID 19.
Dr. Anuranjan Misra Dean Research and Development, and Surpanch shri Rameshwar Ji shared various tips to prevent from corona virus. The villagers started requirement of new construction of toilets, problem of clean drinking water, transportation problem and their basic problems related to the maintenance of the Primary Health Center with Dr. Anuranjan Misra, Dean(R&D) GNIOT, Greater Noida

GNIOT had organized Survey Camp in Different Villages 28.08.2021 to 11.10.2021.

Women Awareness Camp:
Under the banner of UBA the Department of Civil Engineering organized a Women Awareness Camp at Junpat Village, Greater Noida to empower the women of the village by advising them to maintain health standards for their well-being. The faculty of the department also distributed health and sanitation items to the women of the village.

Village Based Problem Discussion and Solution development Program:
MCA department of GNIOT organized a village visit to Rampur Bangar village on 06.04.2022 under the vibrant leadership of Prof. (Dr.) Dhiraj Gupta, Director, GNIOT to discuss and find solutions to the problems faced by the villagers. This visit is an extension of activities designed to enlighten the students, the future stakeholders of our country regarding the issues faced by commoners, under the initiative of 'Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, GNIOT is constantly in touch with this adopted village to alleviate the problems there. The interactions will surely broaden the horizons of these students and make them aware of the social responsibilities they have.
This will not only enhance their knowledge but also sharpen their perceptive capabilities and hone their skills on the path of becoming an ideal citizen as envisaged by the GNIOT management.
