At GNIOT, we provide top-notch infrastructure for B.Tech students, with a dedicated wing for first-year students. The facilities include modern smart classrooms equipped with projectors, smart boards, and fully air-conditioned lecture halls, ensuring an advanced and comfortable learning environment. The department also features well-equipped laboratories and workshops with the latest technology, enabling students to acquire practical knowledge and engineering skills, preparing them to meet industry demands with confidence.

Engineering Physics Lab: The Physics laboratory is designed to provide students with a comprehensive and immersive learning experience. The lab features advanced apparatus such as the nodal slide, diffraction grating, Newton's ring setup, polarimeter, He-Ne laser for darkroom experiments, Carey Foster Bridge, voltmeter calibration equipment, Stefan’s law apparatus, and energy band gap kits. These resources allow students to explore fundamental physics concepts, conduct precise measurements, and develop critical analytical skills, bridging the gap between theory and real-world applications.

Chemistry Lab: The Chemistry Laboratory at our college is a well-ventilated, modern facility designed to ensure safety and effective learning. It features dedicated entrances and emergency exits for safe evacuation during emergencies, along with fire extinguishers, exhaust fans, and a first aid box for added safety measures. Equipped with essential tools and infrastructure, the lab includes sufficient burners with gas supply, working tables with sinks, and advanced instruments such as pH meters, distillation assemblies, burettes, beakers, round-bottom and conical flasks, pipettes, measuring cylinders, reagent bottles, and a wide range of chemicals. These facilities provide students with the opportunity to perform diverse experiments, enhancing their practical skills and understanding of core chemistry concepts in a secure and supportive environment.

Programming for Problem Solving Lab: Our spacious computer labs are equipped with 60 systems featuring the latest configurations and advanced software to support modern computing needs. All systems are connected via LAN with 24/7 internet access, benefiting both students and faculty. The lab includes Lenovo M7205 desktops with Intel i5 9th generation CPUs, 16GB RAM (8GBx2), 256GB SSD storage, HP KM 160 USB keyboards and mice, Geonics 18.5" HD monitors, and preinstalled Windows 10 Pro. Additionally, the lab is equipped with a smartboard, integrating advanced teaching technology to enhance interactive learning.

Language Lab: The English Language Laboratory utilizes Sanako software for spoken English training and personality development. Activities such as interview preparation, group discussions, seminars, presentations, conversations, speech delivery, JAM (Just a Minute) public speaking, and extempore are conducted to enhance students' communication skills and confidence, preparing them for professional success.

Basic Electrical Engineering Lab: The Basic Electrical Engineering Lab is designed to offer students a well-rounded and engaging learning experience. The lab features advanced equipment, including single-phase transformers, AC/DC machine models, DC shunt motors, 3-phase induction motors, experimental kits, and value-added experiments like energy meters. This hands-on facility helps bridge the gap between theory and practical applications, equipping students with essential technical skills.

Basic Electronics Engineering Lab: The Basic Electronics Engineering Lab is structured to provide students with a comprehensive and interactive learning experience. The lab is equipped with power supplies, multimeters, breadboards, function generators, and digital storage oscilloscopes (DSO). It offers students hands-on experience in designing and analyzing electronic circuits, helping them apply theoretical knowledge and develop practical skills in both analog and digital systems.

Engineering Graphics & Design Lab: The Engineering Graphics and Design Lab is designed to offer students a thorough and engaging learning experience. The lab is equipped with models such as cones, pentagons, and other geometric shapes to help students understand concepts like front, top, and side views, orthographic projections, and first- and third-angle projections. This hands-on facility enables students to visualize and interpret engineering drawings, enhancing their spatial understanding and technical drawing skills.

Workshop Practice Lab: The Workshop and Practice Lab is crafted to provide students with a comprehensive and immersive learning experience. The lab is equipped with advanced machinery, including lathe machines, welding machines, CNC milling machines, foundry and casting apparatus, and a 3D printer. This facility provides students with hands-on experience in manufacturing, fabrication, and prototyping, fostering practical skills and a strong foundation in engineering practices.
