Second and Third year students of ME participated in an industrial visit to “CRESENT TECHNO SOLUTION Pvt. Ltd” on 17th May 2024, organized by Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), collaboration with the Departments of ME.
Department of Mechanical Engineering has organised a Seminar entitled “Various Stages of Entrepreneurship” under the aegis of Institution’s innovative council (IIC). Mr. Girendra Bhati (Assistant Professor, GNIOT) was the Key speaker of this event. This Seminar aims to clarify some basic tenets of entrepreneurship in education, focusing on what it is, why it is relevant to society when it is applied, and how to use in practice in the early stages. The intended audience of this seminar will be able to understand how to start their own business and become entrepreneur.
The Department of Mechanical Engineering conducted a Debate competition on Theme “Future of electric vehicles in comparison to conventional automobile” on 2nd May, 2024 at Room No: 34, Ground Floor, from 03:15 PM onwards for the B.Tech. 2nd and 3rd year students. The event was organized by Dr. Iqbal Ahmed Khan. The aim of organizing debate competition was to enhance the public speaking skills of the students and teach them to be articulate while expressing their thoughts and opinions. Electric vehicles function in a very different technological, political, and social ecosystem than internal combustion engine vehicles as they become more widely distributed.
Under the aegis of the Alumni Cell, Department of Mechanical Engineering organized an Alumni Talk on “Design Concept for Mechanical Engineers”. Mr. Dalish Sharma, an alumnus of GNIOT (pass out Batch of 2015), was the speaker of the event. The key objective of this talk was to provide students with all the necessary information, tips and other relevant resources related to design engineer, in order to get better career opportunities in this highly competitive scenario and helped them in fulfilling their endeavors and goals to achieve final Destiny.
In pursuit of fostering creativity and cultivating a culture of innovation, the session delivered by Prof. (Dr.) Anuranjan Mishra aimed to serve as a platform to motivate students about innovation and business models. It reflected our belief that innovation and start-up journeys are the cornerstones of progressive India. The students learned about problem-solving skills and entrepreneurial spirit. Furthermore, the session was interesting with a round: Answer the Question and Win a Certificate.
Mechanical Engineering department organized “CADMANIA 2K24” AutoCAD Design Competition on 24th April 2024. The main purpose of this event is to provide the guidance and motivate the students for placement in design and other fields. The recent development and future aspects have been introduced in front of them. The expected challenges in modern industries are also demonstrated.
