About the Department

Department of Computer Science & Engineering established in 2001 and for its compliance to standards of academic quality and infrastructure based education. The department has four year B.Tech program with intake of 360 students. The department also offers two year M.Tech program with intake of 18 students. The department has a group of highly qualified dedicated faculty to provide value based education and training needed for the students to sustain in highly demanding technical world.

The department has undertaken many research projects and FDPs funded by university/government agencies. The department also has numerous research publications in various national and international journals.

The Computer Science & Engineering Department has also developed in-house labs and trainers, certified by the industries to cater not only the need of trainings but also for various certifications like CEH, MOS, MTA, Java, Oracle etc. The advanced curriculum encompasses a variety of topic relating to computation, ranging from abstract analysis of algorithms and formal grammars to subjects like programming languages, software, artificial intelligence, soft computing and computer hardware which prepares students for career opportunities in different areas such as software development, software testing, web designing, computer communications and networking ,ethical hacking etc. The department has an excellent placement record of accomplishment with high salary packages.
